ADAM DEAN -
2005+ Adam joined the group in Fall 2005 after graduating with his Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from Utah State University. He is studying the simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) problem using multi-robot coordination, three-dimensional localization, adaptive control and tank dynamics. |

VISHISHT GUPTA-
2004+ Vishisht is in his third year of graduate school and is pursuing his Doctorate. He is the group expert in robust system implementation, circuit fabrication and layout, DSP systems and CAN bus architecture. When he is not running the undergraduate mechatronics labs, he is researching integrated sensor solutions for fault-tolerant vehicle state estimation and guidance. |

CHRISTIAN HUBICKI-
2007+ Christian is currently in his first year of his M.S. He is developing improved engine starter systems for the HEMTT ground military vehicle. To achieve this, he is building a Hardware-in-the-Loop test bench to simulate the load of the HEMTT's engine. |

KSHITIJ
JERATH - 2007+ Kshitij joined the group in Fall 2007. He is currently involved with studying the reliability of transit buses and comparing the results with data from PTI's bus testing program. Further, he is also working towards developing a failure prediction model for transit buses. |

LAPAPONG - 2005+ Sittikorn joins the group from Thailand, and is working on his MS and PhD studying vehicle dynamics. He is currently working on matching the dynamic behavior of scale vehicles to full-size vehicles. |

DREW LOGAN
2007+ Drew joined the group in Fall 2007 as an undergrad work-study. After graduating in 2007, he is now pursuing a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering. His current work is a partnership with the Applied Research Laboratory. The project deals with the scaling of explosive ordinance disposal robots. |

PETERSHEIM- 2004+ Michael originally joined the group as an undergraduate workstudy. After graduating with his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State this past May, he is continuing his M.S. work on the study of distributed hardware-in-the-loop architectures for testing advanced vehicle powertrains under the DOE GATE program |

PRAMOD VEMULAPALLI- 2006+ Pramod is a second year masters student. He is interested in developing data acquisition systems ,on vehicles and robots, that would extract terrain information. He is currently focused on a median mapping project and has completed scanning almost all major highways in Pennsylvania, Ohio and North Carolina. . |

2008+ Jason joined the group in Spring 2008 and is a Penn State Alum! After graduating in 2007 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, he is now pursuing a M.S. in M.E. His current research utilizes Monte-Carlo simulations of vehicle dynamics to predict relationships between roadway geometry and accident causation. |

JOSEPH YUTKO
2006+ Joe joined the group in Fall 2006 after graduating with B.S. Mechanical Engineering from Wilkes University (PA), and is currently pursuing his M.S. His research, sponsored by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), considers validating the PTI Bus Testing Program and developing methodologies to predict vehicle subsystem component failures. |
